- What is the Golf Empire Weekly Tournament Series?
The Golf Empire Weekly Tournament Series is an indoor golf competition hosted at Golf Empire Indoor Golf Simulator Studio using the GSPro simulator platform and SGT (Simulator Golf Tour) tournament system.
Members can compete on world-famous golf courses, track their scores and statistics online, and enjoy friendly competition throughout the week.
🎯 Registration & Participation
- Who can join the tournaments?
All Golf Empire members are welcome to join, including beginners and experienced golfers.
- Is tournament registration free?
Yes. Tournament registration is currently FREE during the Pilot Season.
- How do I register for a tournament?
Simply reply “YES” to our WhatsApp announcement or contact the Golf Empire team. Step-by-step registration guidance will be provided.
- Do I need my own SGT account?
Yes. Each participant will need a free SGT (Simulator Golf Tour) account for tournament tracking, leaderboard participation, and handicap management.
- Do I need my own GSPro subscription?
No. Players will use the Golf Empire simulator systems at our studio.

- What tournament formats are available?
Tournament formats may include:
Stroke Play
Stableford
Match Play (future events)
Team formats (future events)
Formats may vary depending on the weekly event.
- What courses will be used?
Players will compete on famous GSPro world courses, including many real-world inspired championship layouts.
- How long does each tournament last?
Each tournament will run for approximately two weeks, allowing members flexibility to complete their rounds during the event period. there will be 4 rounds and it is required to complete at least one round. For those completed more than one round, best round score will be used.
- Can I play anytime during the tournament week?
Yes. Players can participate anytime during the active event period, subject to simulator bay availability and booking schedule.
- What if I cannot finish my round in one session?
No problem. The tournament system supports a resume feature, allowing unfinished rounds to continue in another session without losing progress. Each hole completed data will be saved and recorded.

- How are scores tracked?
Scores are automatically submitted through the SGT tournament system after the round is completed.
- Will there be live leaderboards?
Yes. Players can view live leaderboard rankings during the tournament within individual group. Overall score will be posted after completed and winner will be announced on our website.
- Can I review my previous rounds and statistics?
Yes. Players can review:
Full scorecards
Fairways hit (FIR)
Greens in regulation (GIR)
Putting statistics
Shot data
Tournament history
All statistics are available online through the SGT platform.
- How does handicap work?
The SGT system tracks player performance and helps create fair competition between golfers of different skill levels.
- I am a beginner. Can I still join?
Absolutely. The tournament series is designed for both casual and competitive golfers.

- Where are the tournaments held?
All tournaments are held at Golf Empire Indoor Golf Simulator Studio.
- Are tournaments played indoors?
Yes. All rounds are played in our fully air-conditioned indoor golf simulator studio.
- Do I need to bring my own clubs?
Players are encouraged to bring their own golf clubs for the best experience. However you are welcome to use golf clubs provided at our studio.
- How do I book a simulator bay for tournament play?
Bay bookings can be arranged through the Golf Empire booking system and simulator usage will be charged as normal. For tournament paly choose Tournament form the GSPro Game play menu and choose the User name (must be same as SGT account) name. it is very important to choose the correct name so that scored are recorded under your user account.
